The Master of Science in Information Science (MSIS) prepares students with the
knowledge and skills needed to function as information professionals in a variety
of agencies, including internet service providers, web search portals, information
processing services, and electronic publishing.
The Master of Science in Library Science (MSLS) prepares information professionals
for work in a variety of roles and application settings, including all types of libraries,
information centers, and corporate information agencies.
The Master of Science in Health Informatics (MS-HI) program at UNT is designed
to educate leaders in health informatics who can apply data science and information
management methods and techniques to improve the delivery of healthcare with a patient-centered
focus in diversified environments.
Students who are interested in earning a Master's degree while pursuing School Librarian Certification
may also pursue the Master of Science in Library Science or Information Science degree
program.
