The Master of Science with majors in Library Science and Information Science degree program is accredited by the American Library Association. The most recent re-accreditation of the program was granted in June 2020.

Some data points of our program:
1. Retention Rate: Based on a data analysis of the Fall 2023 cohort of newly admitted students, average retention rate within a year after admission is 97.87% for MS in Information Science, and 85.15% for MS in Library Science.
2. Average Time to Degree Completion: Based on a data analysis of students who were admitted into the program from 2019-2021, the 3-year average graduation rate is 76.81% for MS Information Science students, and 61.48% for MS Library Science students. Average time to degree completion is 28 months (2.3 years) for MS Information Science students and 32 months (2.7 years) for MS Library Science students.
3. Percentage of Graduates holding positions relevant to their degree within 12 months of degree completion (including further graduate study) is 82.98%. (This data was obtained through a survey of 567 graduates who graduated in Academic Year 2023-2024. The response rate was 8%).
