Information Science Research Meetings

The Department of Information Science Research Meetings a.k.a Brown Bag meetings primarily focus on raising the awareness of ongoing and planned research to support scholarly collaboration within the department and College of Information. They are meant to support faculty and graduate students' in their research careers; therefore, the meetings are open to all faculty and students who wish to share their research ideas in: Information Science, Library Science, or Data Science, as well as their overlaps with other fields that College of Information specializes in.

The Brown Bag meetings will be held in the DIS Multipurpose room and also online on Fridays from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. (CT) via Zoom for the Fall 2024 semester.
A facilitator(s) will open the meeting with a presentation, followed by a discussion. These meetings are designed to encourage scholarly discussion.
