VT-NH-ME Cohort Facts

Requirements

  • All courses will be offered online. Students will be encouraged to attend networking events in the Spring and Summer semesters at the Manchester City Library. 
    *Note: Face-to-face events will be dependent on the COVID-19 health situation. An online alternative will be available where necessary.
  • Students may transfer up to nine semester hours of coursework from other graduate programs toward the master's degree, if it meets the graduate school's criteria and upon approval of their program advisor. Please contact the College of Information Advising Office at ci-advising@unt.edu for more information.
  • Students will apply to, be admitted, and be advised from the College of Information - Department of Information Science at the University of North Texas.

Cohort students are encouraged to participate in the program's specialized social media communities.

Practicum/Computing Requirements

Students must present evidence of relevant field experience through prior experience or by taking a field experience course. This course is in addition to the 36 semester hours required for the Master's. For more information about Practicum requirements, please visit the Practicum/Field Experience page. 

Students are expected to possess computing competencies that will enable them to learn in the distributed environment. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that these competencies are possessed.
