In addition to completing the 36 hours of required coursework, students in the Master of Science in Library Science or Master of Science in Information Science program must complete the Capstone Experience. Students will be expected to complete an ePortfolio.
If you are a school library certification only student, you will also create an ePortfolio and you will turn it in to your INFO 5090 instructor when you take INFO 5090 - Practicum. Details for creating your ePortfolio will be provided during your first course, INFO 5001- Introduction to School Librarianship.
In their graduating semester, master-seeking students will submit a form that they are ready for their ePortfolio's Final Semester Review.
For Spring 2025, the form is available from January 6, 2025 at 10:00 am (Central) until January 31, 2025 at 5:00 pm (Central). The deadline for ePortfolio submission final faculty review is Monday, February 17, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (Central).
