Although not required in the degree program, students have the option to do an internship as part of their master's degree.
Completing an internship allows students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges in clinical, public health, and technology settings. Through hands-on experience, students build practical skills, deepen their understanding of health information systems, and gain insights that strengthen their professional readiness. Internships also create valuable opportunities for networking and career development within the rapidly evolving health informatics field.
