The School & Youth Librarianship program faculty have kicked off this summer with a new webinar series "Living Multiliteracies". This new series is part of the events and presentations organized by the faculty associated with the new Multiple Literacies Lab. The series will explore and encourage discussion about important topics in the School & Youth Librarianship field.
Anyone with an interest in becoming a school or youth librarian, or has a general interest in the field is encouraged to participate in the webinars. The sessions will take place once a month on Zoom, and are scheduled to run throughout the summer and fall semesters.
The first session will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, from 7 - 8 p.m. CST, and
is particularly geared towards those with an interest in pursuing a Master's degree
with a focus on School and Youth Librarianship. Drs. Sarah Evans and Tricia Kuon will
provide an overview of the UNT Master's degree and School Librarian Certification
programs.
