Weill Cornell Medicine’s Samuel J. Wood Library is proud to share that Kathleen Konno, a Department of Information Science, Health Informatics student, has been selected as one of the 2025 Data Librarianship Interns by the NNLM National Center for Data Services (NCDS), part of the National Library of Medicine.

This nationally competitive internship program is designed to train emerging professionals in the intersection of data science, health information, and library services. Konno will be contributing to Project 2: Weill Cornell Medicine, Samuel J. Wood Library, where they will engage in applied work related to data management, public health data services, and clinical research support.

We are so proud of Kathleen and delighted to see their passion for health informatics and data librarianship recognized on a national stage. This internship will further develop their skills and amplify their contributions to the evolving field of health data services.
