UNT Department of Information Science will have several faculty members presenting at the 2019 Texas Library Association Conference to be held in Austin, Texas, April 15-18. This state conference is the largest state library conference in the US with some 7,000 to 8,000 attendees and over 400 exhibitors. The daily sessions comprise of presentations by noted people in the profession, and provides Texas libraries and librarians with some of the best learning opportunities and resources available. We are also pleased to have many of our alumni who will also be presenting at the conference.
The Department will also have an exhibit booth (# 2433) at the conference. On the evening of Wednesday, April 17, we invite our alumni, students and friends of the department to join us for our Alumni & Friends dinner at the Austin Public Library from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Ticket price : $25.
