Spring 2015

INFO 5000 Information and Knowledge Professions
INFO 5600 Information Access and Knowledge Inquiry

The cohort will meet in late August 2014 and will receive orientation, instruction, and socialization. Students should be prepared to devote all their time during those four days to the program.

The remainder of the instruction for these two courses will be via the Web.

Summer 2015

INFO 5200 Information Organization
INFO 5300 Management of Information Agencies

The cohort will meet again in May 2015 and will receive instruction in INFO 5200. Students should be prepared to devote all their time during those two days to the program.

The instruction for INFO 5300 and the remainder of the instruction for INFO 5200 will be via the Web.

Fall 2015

INFO 5814 Website Development
INFO 5711 Internet Applications

Both offered entirely via the Web.

Spring 2016 through Fall 2016

Students will take electives delivered via the Web by UNT, or from approved local programs to total 36 semester credit hours.

All students must possess Information Technology Knowledge and Skills before starting the program. 

All students will participate in an exit experience that will be conducted via the Web in the last semester of study.

All students must demonstrate professional practice either through the approval of prior experience or through taking INFO 5090 Practicum in addition to the 36 hours of coursework.
