Structure of the Advanced Topic Seminars

The Advanced Topic Seminars are comprised of two (2) organized three credit hour courses offered in the regular (Fall and Spring) semesters:

1.    INFO 5970 Advanced Topics Seminar I:  Advanced independent examination and evaluation of specific issues and problems in the field of information science.  The course provides the opportunity to expand knowledge and understanding of existing and emerging topics.

2.    INFO 5980 Advanced Topics Seminar II:  Advanced independent examination and development of specific issues and problems in the field of information science.  This course builds on the knowledge gained in Advanced Topics Seminar I.  (Students that take this course in their graduating semester, MUST be sure to apply for graduation at the start of the semester).
